We will organise a fun, fulfilling and interesting day for your teams giving your organisation the opportunity to get out on the network, roll up your sleeves and get involved in local ecology projects on the National Cycle Network.ÌýÌý

Your team will learn new skills, meet our amazing colleagues taking care of the Network and leave feeling inspired to help nature to thrive on the Network.ÌýÌý

We are custodians of the National Cycle NetworkÌýÌý

As custodians of the National Cycle Network, °Ä²ÊÂÛ̳ look after a UK-wide network of over 12,000 miles of signed paths and routes for walking, wheeling, cycling and exploring the outdoors. The network passes within one mile of around half of the UK population and carries an estimate of 589 million trips every year by walkers and people cycling, as well as joggers, wheelchair users and horse riders.Ìý

In the UK we are facing a climate and ecological emergency. Habitat loss, habitat fragmentation, climate change and changes to agricultural practices are all large contributing factors. The survival of many species is threatened by an ever-shrinking amount of space for plants and animals to live and thrive in.ÌýÌý

The linear geography of the National Cycle Network greenways offers the potential to create exemplary habitats, with spaces and routes for wildlife to both live and travel.ÌýÌýÌý

We need your help to help make the Network a space for nature to thriveÌýÌý

We’re working with to organise exciting volunteering opportunities which protect and restore wildlife on the National Cycle Network. Ìý

Your corporate volunteering day could include restoring habitats, installing wildlife boxes, planting native hedgerows, sowing wildflower seeds, establishing amphibian wetland scrapes and making space for nature on the National Cycle Network.ÌýÌý

A member of the °Ä²ÊÂÛ̳ team will organise your volunteering day and join you out on the Network to be on hand to support you, talk to you about our work and make sure you enjoy your day making it one to remember.Ìý Ìý

We will also sponsor a mile of the National Cycle Network in your name to recognise your support for the National Cycle Network by installing a small sign on the network to celebrate your generosity for all passersby to enjoy.

Your donation will support our ecology team to deliver vital work across the Network to make space for nature to thrive.
